Senior Account Manager
Karina leads and executes strategic communications campaigns and stakeholder engagement, as well as technical research and report-writing projects at Browning. She wrote and managed the launch of IUCN’s Restoration Barometer report in 2022, led IUCN’s Act30 Indigenous-led conservation initiative and its associated creative campaign and manages international media relations for various organizations and experts, including world-leading climate scientists. Her work has covered topics ranging from ecosystem restoration, climate tipping points, climate finance, carbon markets, and the energy transition.
Prior to this, Karina received her MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, where she specialized in environmental science, policy, ecology, and natural resource management. Her thesis evaluated the human wellbeing impacts of tropical forest restoration, in collaboration with Conservation International. She also holds a BSc in Politics and History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Karina previously worked in digital communications for two years.
