Josh leads Browning’s carbon markets and energy transition practices and has helped organizations of all sizes reach target audiences, shape national narratives, and win campaigns.
With 15 years of experience working in environmental communications and policy, Josh brings a deep understanding of how to connect the dots between clients and decision makers.
He began his career as an attorney working for the Environmental Protection Agency and subsequently covered federal environmental and energy policy for the New York Governor. He then led campaigns to protect and enact progressive policy at the state and federal level with the Union of Concerned Scientists, and built the transportation portfolio at Climate Nexus, a strategic communications firm.
Josh holds a J.D. in international law from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.S. in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
