Jess is an experienced communications expert, with more than a decade of hands-on experience working in and with the media. At Browning she is the senior counsel on press and media relations, while handling international clients and supporting new business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and APAC.
Initially as a journalist for British and German outlets and most recently, Jess has been at the centre of the UK Government in media roles focusing on climate and diplomacy. These include at the Cabinet Office as Head of News for COP26, at No10 Downing Street specialising in foreign and international development affairs in the press team, at the Ministry of Defence in a senior media advisory role and at the Department for Education.
She received her Master of Arts from City, University of London in newspaper journalism and her Bachelor of Arts in German and French from the University of Leeds.
