Fernanda has a background in both corporate sustainability and biodiversity research. She received a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on biodiversity and conservation from University College London and a master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
For her post-graduate degree, Fernanda conducted greenhouse gas inventories and led a sustainability strategy and decarbonization project for the Wildlife Conservation Society.
In her previous roles, she has supported project development on ecosystem restoration, as well as primary forest conservation and ecology research.
