Operations Manager

We are looking to hire a hard-working individual to manage the HR, legal, and administrative systems to support the rapid expansion of our ground-breaking environmental communications agency.

The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and have previous experience in related fields.

 

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Establishing and maintaining business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
  • Managing recruitment of staff in the US and UK, including advertising, recruitment agencies, social media promotion, website
  • HR management including staff onboarding new staff, management of US healthcare policies, review processes, training
  • Oversight of new business pipeline
  • Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
  • Management of company contracts with clients, suppliers, staff
  • Sending out and registering company invoices on accounts system
  • Management of staff expenses and time management records
  • Management of operational suppliers e.g. offices, telcos, and all supplier payment approvals
    Extensive diary planning and management for CEO
  • Setting up calls and meetings for CEO and senior team members with clients and other stakeholders in multiple timezones
  • Project management of international marketing activities, including website development, events sponsorship
    Planning and organizing non-US travel and accommodation
  • Any other administrative duties as required

About you:

  • 3 years minimum experience working in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in perfect English
  • Solid mathematics skills and strong ability with databases, Excel
  • Excellent planning ability in particular handling multiple timezones
  • Experience of basic book keeping
  • Entrepreneurial, problem-solving team player
  • The ability to independently prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Right to work in the UK
